Since I've been working in science for almost thirty years, I find it kind of odd that I haven't painted work that shows what I see everyday. There is so much beauty in science especially in wet chemistry. The colors of liquids, cleaned glassware, dirty gritty work spaces, mad science messes are the most beautiful thing inside my memory bank. I think I'll be painting what I see in the lab for a while calling it my science studies in art. Science, especially chemistry, simply isn't represented much in the art world because really nobody sees the inside of a lab very often.

Camera's are allowed in our lab, but to release those pictures, one has to go through the legal departments. Thusly it is rare to see the beauty inside a real lab other than through commercials and text books.
