Description
This abstract painting was created during a filmed interview of me painting and describing why I chose to start painting and who motivates me to continue. It was a documentary of artists.
Taste of wine is the forth painting in my series of Surreal and Symbolic Wine works. I used bold colors and a palette knife as I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression. Art buyers (and art lovers) might see symbolic references of social romantic elements as my bottles and glasses that tend to represent people rather than drinking not that drinking a glass of wine is bad. I would promote a little wine and cheer. I have borrowed from several 20th century painters like Hans Hofmannn, and Jackson Pollock as I offer homage to their artistic vision collectively through my own art.

Hi Lisa, Love this painting. It gives warmth, reflections of glass, beautiful colors, and makes me think of going to an Italian restaurant for a romantic dinner with wine. I would think this painting and others similar would add to the ambience of a a cozy, lightly dim, Italian Restaurant with candles.
Lisa Kaiser replied:
Thank you Jean. The wine art is a type of work that I get commissioned to do a lot of.

A great panorama of wonderful colors. It is not easy to paint glass, and yet you do it effortlessly with a few paint strokes. Outstanding !
