One Last Glass Before Bed is the fifth painting in my series of Surreal and Symbolic Wine works. I used bold colors and a pallet knife as I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression. Art buyers (and art lovers) will see symbolic references of social romantic elements as my bottles and glasses that tend to represent people rather than drinking not that drinking a glass of wine is bad. I would promote a little wine and cheer. I have borrowed from several 20th century painters like Hans Hofmannn, Jackson Pollock and Henri Matisse as I offer homage to their artistic vision collectively through my own art.
